Amazon präsentiert das Firephone
Amazon hat heute Abend das Firephone vorgestellt. Es handelt sich hier bei um ein Smartphone mit einem 4,7 Zoll Display und einem Snapdragon 800 Prozessor. Die Hauptkamera besitzt 13 Megapixel und für guten Sound sorgen 2 Stereo Lautsprecher.
Das Firephone ist aber kein normales Smartphone, sondern stellt diverse Amazon Funktionen in den Mittelpunkt. Das Fire OS 3.5.0 (auf Android aufbauend) bietet ein einzigartiges Bedienkonzept, das hauptsächlich Amazon Prime Kunden zu Gute kommen soll. Aber wer es kauft bekommt Prime für 12 Monate kostenlos dazu. Die Schlussbemerkung, ja man kann auch damit telephonieren trifft es auf den Punkt. Aber zwischen Amazon und Fon gibts dennoch jede Menge interessante Feature. Telefonnummern kann man jetzt einfach abfotografieren und in einer Wall sammeln. Telefonnummer suchen geht dann mal anders. Falls man sich an das Plakat erinnert findet man es optisch vielleicht schneller als nach einem Namen der einem gerade nicht einfallen soll. Auch der Firefly Button ist ein Shortcut der via Firefly App konfiguriert werden kann. Zum Bsp. als Kamera Button.
Für Entwickler gibt es extra eine Firefly SDK und Dynamic Perspective SDK. Um so das Gerät bzw. dessen Software zukünftig auch weiter entwickeln zu können.
Schade das Amazon so wenig Phone gezeigt hat, daher unten noch ein paar Store Bilder.
Wer sich das neue Amazon Flaggschiff, denn das ist eines gönnen will muss 649$ (32 GByte-Version) und 749$ (64 GByte-Version) ausgeben dafür.
Vorerst dürfen sich US Kunden von AT&T freuen, im 2 Jahres Vertrag bekommen sie es für rund 200 Dollar. Ab 25 Juli ist es dann Verfügbar.
Auch wenn hier die Vorjahres SoC Snapdragon 800 werkelt, ist das Firephone definitiv ein High End Gerät.

Ich bin wirklich gespannt, wann bei uns in Deutschland auf den Markt kommt! Die 3D-Technologie in einem Handy ist ziehmlich geil, sobald Amazon bekannt gibt, das es in Deutschland auf dem Markt erscheint, werde ich es mir vorbestellen.
